Sonny has played at various local, regional, national, and international venues and has performed and shared stage with nationally renowned and local talent, late great Calvin Simmons, conductor of the Oakland symphony and the likes of Lou Rawls, De Wayne Wiggins of Tony Toni Tone, Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band, Leny Williams, and Rodney Franklin just to name a few; and has open for Gerald Albright, Kirk Waluam, Braxton Brothers, Ronnie Laws, Cameo, Earth Wind & fire, Con Funk Shun, Parliament, Boney James , Dave Coz, the Crusaders, Jeffery Osborne, Ray Charles, Natalie Cole ect; Sonny's range covers Contemporary Gospel, Contemporary Jazz, Smooth Jazz and Jazz Standards Music Instructor/Entertainer.
